The path to a degree isn't always easy; sometimes, life can get in the way of future plans. But Point Loma Nazarene University knows how vital this next phase of the educational journey is. PLNU is committed to not only helping you become successful in your field but a life-changing experience in the process.

Target audience

This campaign is for the extended learning program at PLNU. The target audience is a potential adult degree student. We focused on three schools within PLNU.

Project objective

This campaign was led by Red Door Interactive, a marketing agency that the PLNU marketing team hired. Red Door conducted extensive research and came up with the idea of Founded on Finding You, a campaign narrative enforcing PLNU's mission of helping students find themselves, so they can fully become who they are called to be.

The video piece of the campaign included:

  • An anthem video (the showpiece of the series).

  • Single short video profiles.

  • A series of short online-oriented advertisements.

I produced and directed the whole set of video components.

My work on Founded on Finding You exemplifies how I collaborate with outside marketing teams. I did not take the lead in designing the campaign's story in this campaign. That was all led by the marketing agency. My role was to deliver through the execution. I identified the student stories that fit within the campaign and then managed all components of video production. We brought in a few outside contractors for this job. I hired, managed, and directed the video production.
